What do you like best about this course?:

The instructors for this course are second to none. Professor Greenfield is funny and a very good teacher, but Vidit Nanda brings comedy to recitations, which make learning much easier. Nanda is definitely,by far, the best math TA i've ever had.

Recitations were very, very helpful. Made the course much more manageable.

Vidit is best TA I have had at Rutgers.

The material was made very interesting and presented in a very informative manner.

This class was hysterical at times, but I learned so much. Anything that was unclear from lecture was explained thoroughly in recitation

I liked Vidit's teaching style. Very comprehensive

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

Nanda covered it all very well.

Nothing

Everything was good in recitations

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

Nanda dumbed down the material from lecture to make it much easier to understand, but still gave us a thorough knowledge of the information. He is a very skilled instructor. In fact, he's a better instructor than some professors at Rutgers!

The Nanda - Greenfield combo was absolutely perfect. These two are basically clones of each other in terms of their brilliance and sense of humor. I can see Greenfield as the teacher and Nanda as the padawan. Vidit was able to give us so much knowledge while at the same time being personable and giving us the knowledge colloquially

Other comments or suggestions::

Great course with second to none instruction.

Vidit was very helpful. He kept the mood light (joked with the class, poked fun at the lecturer, etc.) but always did numerous problems from the material that helped the class understand what was going on. One of the best TA's I've had at Rutgers thus far.
